Alex Harvey is the most decorated Canadian cross-country skier in history. The son of the legendary Pierre Harvey, he quickly made a name for himself on the international stage. During his career, he won five medals at the World Championships, including a historic gold medal in the 50 km freestyle—the premier event in cross-country skiing—in Lahti, Finland, in 2017, Canada’s first victory in this event. He also racked up more than 25 World Cup podium finishes, excelling at all distances.
