Founded in 1975 in Saint-Jérôme, the Fondeurs Laurentides club has become a pillar of Nordic skiing development in Quebec and in Canada. From the very beginning, the club focused on structured training for young competitors as well as the promotion of recreational and school-based cross-country skiing. Over 50 years, the club has trained numerous athletes of national and international caliber, including Olympians Cendrine Browne and Olivia Bouffard-Nesbitt. Recognized for the quality of its coaching and leadership, the Fondeurs Laurentides club remains a model of athlete development, contributing actively to the growth and visibility of Canadian cross-country skiing.
