Leave your mark beside Jackrabbit

Help immortalize Herman “Jackrabbit” Smith-Johannsen, father of skiing in Canada, with a lasting tribute to the man who blazed the first trails in Canadian skiing. Contribute to the creation of the commemorative mural that will adorn the main entrance of the Laurentian Ski Museum in spring 2026.

Bricks

Each brick purchased will be installed in front of the entrance to the Laurentian Ski Museum, one of the busiest street corners in the entire Laurentians region.

Mural

The mural will be painted on the exterior wall of the museum facing the rue Principale.

The artist

The artist who will create the mural has not yet been chosen, so stay tuned for further developments on that front.
