Native of Laurentians, Alexandre Bilodeau was a double gold medal of Olympics (Vancouver and Sochi) in acrobatic skiing-moguls. His gold medal was historic because it was the first gold medal won (in all sports) by the Canada at the Vancouver Games. By his victorys in World Cup, in Olympics Games and in World Championnships, Alexandre Bilodeau was the Canadian skier the most successful of the country history.
