In addition to initiating their six children to skiing and competition in the Laurentians, Marie and Raymond Laframboise were, for over 40 years, builders and volunteers for competition, development, organisation and fundraising at Mont-Gabriel ski club, Ski Québec and Ski Canada. Raymond was at one time president of Laurentian Zone, vice-president of Ski Quebec and Ski Canada. In the meantime, Marie was involved in high profile fundraising events to benefit ski racing.
