First Canadian woman to be elected into one of the FIS' committees and first Canadian woman to be a part of the Olympics' jury (1964). Volunteer for more than 40 years.

Pat Ramage worked tirelessly on the development of all snow sports for almost 50 years. She was particularly associated with alpine racing and biathlon. She worked more than 40 years as volunteer with the Canadian Ski Association, Biathlon Canada, the FIS, the Canadian Olympic Association and the Canadian Modern Pentathlon Association. She was a woman of “firsts” : First ever Canadian to be elected to a FIS committee, first Canadian jury member at Olympic Games event (Innsbruck, 1964) first honorary member of the Canadian Ski Association and organizer of the first Canadian biathlon team to participate in World Championships in 1978.
