A very versatile man, Roger Tanguay was alternately competitor, ski instructor, coach, trainer, ski centre director, sport chronicler, journalist, ski trip organizer and ski industry businessman. He devoted all his life to his passion for skiing and his love of the Laurentians. For all the people he introduced to skiing and for his significant impact on skiing in the region, Tanguay deserves to be considered one of the great builders of the sport.
