One of the best slalom skiers from the Laurentians.
Inducted in 2000

Member of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team from 1985 to 1992, Alain Villiard became one of the finest slalom skiers to come out of the Laurentians. He was Canadian slalom champion four times; North American champion; 14th at the Olympics in Calgary, in 1988. His best placing on the World Cup was 8th in Slovenia; he placed 5 times in the top 15 and became the first Canadian to reach the first seed (Top 15) in slalom on the World Cup Circuit.
