Well known in the ski world, Bernard Trottier was an instructor, a director but mainly a businessman in the ski industry. Talented in the commerce field, he became, thanks to his success, one of the most important philanthropists of all ski disciplines: alpine, cross country, freestyle and skiing for the disabled. Founding president of the “Club Mille-Aide” whose mission was to help finance ski teams of Quebec and Canada, he also presided over and sponsored the “Circuit universitaire” with ski teams from the Laurentian Division and from the Eastern Townships.
