Inducted in 1985

Born in Westmount in 1911, Frank Scofield, together with Jackrabbit Johannsen, organised the first cross-country race in the Laurentiens. In 1939, he became director of Chantecler Ski School and ran both the ski school and the ski shop. He was the first Canadian to make ski movies in Europe, United States and Canada which were personally narrated by Frank. Also, Frank was an examiner level IV with the Canadian Ski Instructor’s Alliance and later became its president.
