Born on May 27th, 1913 in Saint-Sauveur-des-Monts, Québec, Gérald Chevalier was a level A competitive skier from 1929 to 1939. He won his first cross-country at the Shawbridge-Saint-Jérôme race in 1929. He won the New Year Championship twice, in 1936 and in 1938. Aloso, he won the first Taschereau in Mont-Tremblant in 1936 and he was the first at the Québec-Kandahar, Mont-Tremblant in 1939. He is deceased.
