Ski pioneer in the Saint-Sauveur Valley.
Inducted in 2004

Ski pioneer in the Saint-Sauveur Valley until his retirement in 1976, at the age of 70, his priorities were slopes and ski lift development. He installed the first chair lift and one of the first artificial snow-making systems. Since he knew what poverty meant, he had at heart to give everybody a chance. He hired youngsters from the area and let the poorest ones ski for free in exchange for a few little jobs. Bob Crichton managed a ski center in times when being a craftsman was more important than being a businessman.
