Georges Vigeant was born in 1926. He became a certified instructor from the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) in 1959. He was a CSIA level IV instructor in 1960. He was a national examiner for CSIA between 1960 and 1980. He was a member of the Canadian Interski Demonstration Team in 1965 and in 1968. He was the ski school director at Château Lac-Beauport from 1960 to 1962. He was the ski school director at Mont-Olympia between 1962 and 1964. After, he was the ski school director at Mont La Réserve between 1964 and 1969 and at last he was the ski school director at Mont-Tremblant between 1969 and 1975. He was inducted in the Hall of Fame of Laurentian Ski Museum in 1991.
