Instructor and examiner (level IV) of the CSIA, he worked for ski to be accessible to all.
Inducted in 2008

Ski School Director of Mont Belle Neige from 1970 to 1994, Pierre Vérot left his mark on the Laurentian ski world as an instructor and a director. He is a level IV examiner of the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance. Among the first to promote snowboarding and to integrate the sport into his school, Vérot was one of the pioneers in teaching freestyle skiing for a diversified public. He also worked hard to make skiing accessible, adapted to the visually and physically handicapped. He not only transmitted his love for winter sports on the slopes, he shared it with his listeners on CIME-FM where he worked as a ski analyst for 25 years
